This video is mainly for fun, but it does provoke an important question about communication between the sexes. It stereotypes men and women, but I’ve seen the shoe (nail?) on the other foot often enough.
Through times with couples in crisis or preparing for marriage, I’ve become more sympathetic to the woman’s perspective here. Men often are too task oriented and uncomfortable dealing with things they can’t fix, especially feelings. Women can do the same thing, but it’s more about fixing a pattern than a feeling. Nevertheless, at some point it needs to be about what it’s about.
